AeroPress Coffee Brewing Guide with Origen Perfecto

Experience the versatility and richness of Origen Perfecto Colombian coffee with the AeroPress brewing method. This guide ensures every cup is filled with exceptional flavors and aromas.

Ingredients:

  • Origen Perfecto Colombian coffee beans, ground to a medium-fine consistency.
  • Hot water just off the boil, around 175-185°F (79-85°C).
  • AeroPress coffee maker with a paper filter.

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Prepare and PreheatAssemble the AeroPress by placing a paper filter into the cap and securing it onto the chamber. Rinse the filter with hot water to eliminate any paper taste and preheat the AeroPress and mug.

Step 2: Measure and Add CoffeeMeasure out the desired amount of Origen Perfecto coffee grounds and add them to the AeroPress chamber. Use the inverted method for more control over the brewing process.

Step 3: Bloom and StirStart the timer and pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds, enough to saturate them evenly. Stir gently for a few seconds to ensure all grounds are fully immersed and blooming.

Step 4: Complete the PourSlowly pour the remaining hot water into the AeroPress chamber up to the desired level. Stir once more to mix the grounds and water thoroughly.

Step 5: Steep and PressAttach the plunger and steep the coffee for about 1 minute. Press down gently and steadily on the plunger, applying even pressure until you hear a hissing sound.

Step 6: Serve and EnjoyRemove the AeroPress from your mug, detach the cap, and push the plunger to eject the brewed coffee puck. Dilute with hot water or milk to taste, if desired, and savor the smooth and rich flavors of Origen Perfecto coffee.
